Kundalini Yoga classes — Awaken your awareness
A journey towards your essence, where energy flows and awareness expands.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness.
I invite you to immerse yourself in Kundalini Yoga, a practice that brings together kriyas, breathwork, mantras and meditation to awaken your vital energy and expand your awareness.
My classes, in person and online, are a space for personal transformation where the body grows stronger, the emotions find their balance and the mind settles. Through physical, energetic and emotional work, Kundalini Yoga mobilises the body, works with the chakras, releases blockages and encourages connection with the deeper levels of the self.
Each session is a journey inwards, a place where energy flows freely and inner wisdom awakens.

This practice does not depend on your age or on how flexible you are. What matters is intention and presence.
A living practice
Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, but it is much more than a meditative practice. It is a very complete yoga that works on the body, the breath, the mind, the emotions and the energy, all together.
In a session lasting an hour and a half we use a range of tools: kriyas and asanas, pranayama, mantras, mudras, bandhas and meditations. Each one brings something different and, together, they create a deep and transformative practice.
Through the kriyas we do physical work that mobilises and strengthens the body, improves mobility and helps us connect with it. The breath, the mantras, the mudras and the meditation gradually take us towards a more inward space, helping us observe the mind, regulate our inner rhythm and become aware of what we are feeling.
We live surrounded by stimulation, information and demands. We are often used to living outwards, attentive to everything happening around us, and we find it hard to make space simply to feel ourselves and listen to ourselves.
Kundalini Yoga offers exactly that journey: coming back to the body, to the breath and to our inner experience. Learning to observe what happens inside us, to recognise ourselves and to create a space of greater presence and awareness.
Each class is different and, at the same time, powerful and complete. We are not only looking to work the body, but to use the body as a doorway into deeper work.
It is a practice that can help us awaken and move our energy, widen our awareness and connect with ourselves.
And you do not need any previous experience. Kundalini Yoga adapts to each person and to each moment. All you need is a willingness to explore, breathe, feel and discover what happens when body, mind and energy begin to work together.
Sat nam.

Frequently asked questions about Kundalini Yoga
What is Kundalini Yoga?
It is the yoga of awareness. A practice that combines kriyas (sequences of postures with a specific purpose), breathing techniques, mantras, meditation and relaxation. The aim is not the perfect posture, but moving the energy that has become stuck and bringing calm back to the nervous system.
What is the difference between Kundalini Yoga and Hatha Yoga?
Hatha works mainly on the physical posture: you hold it, you align it, you look for strength and flexibility. Kundalini is more energetic and less athletic. The postures tend to be simple and are repeated with a specific rhythm and breath for a set length of time, alongside mantra and meditation. Many people find Kundalini more intense on the inside and more approachable on the outside.
What is a kriya?
A kriya is a self-contained sequence of exercises, breathing and meditation designed for a specific purpose: releasing tension in the back, clearing the mind, working with the nervous system. Each class is built around one, which is why two Kundalini classes can be very different from each other.
Is Kundalini Yoga a religion or a cult?
No. It comes from the Indian tradition and some mantras are in Sanskrit or Gurmukhi, but practising it does not require believing in anything or belonging to any group. Here it is taught as what it is: a practice of body, breath and attention. If a mantra does not resonate with you, you can still do the kriya without chanting it.
Does it have any risks or unwanted effects?
It is a safe practice for most people, but there are three things worth knowing. Some of the breathing techniques are intense and can cause dizziness or tingling: if that happens, stop and breathe normally, there is no need to push. It can stir things up emotionally, especially at the beginning. And it is not equally suitable for everyone: if you have high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma, an injury, if you are pregnant or if you are going through a delicate psychological moment, tell us beforehand.
Yoga is a complementary wellbeing practice, not a medical or psychological treatment, and does not replace healthcare. If you have any health concerns, check with your healthcare professional first.
Can I practise while pregnant?
With adaptations, and with the go-ahead from your midwife or doctor, in many cases yes. Some Kundalini breathing techniques and abdominal exercises are not suitable during pregnancy, so the class is adjusted. Write to us before signing up and tell us how many weeks along you are.
How often should I practise and what should I wear?
Once or twice a week already makes a difference; daily, even more. Consistency matters more than length. As for clothing: comfortable and not tight, preferably cotton. You practise barefoot. If you come to an in-person class, bring your own mat and something warm for the final relaxation, which is when the body cools down.
